Before every morning service there will be a time set aside for prayer commencing at 10.30am in the room at the back of the church. No single person will lead prayer; it is an opportunity for people to come and go as they wish. This prayer session is an important part of our commitment to God and the church  family. People can pray silently or aloud.

For your Prayers:

Please continue pray for Stella and her family - especially her granddaughter who is seriously ill. Stella has had to postpone her return to South Africa.

Also Iris is finding it increasingly difficult to get out and go shopping etc. and would appreciate any offers of help

The Elders have consulted and have chosen the following organisations to support this year: Homeless Action Barnet, The Alzeimers Society, Stillwaters Children's Home and Christian Aid. Each organisation will be given a share of 10 per cent of the income of Christ Church.

Local churches have begun an initiative called “A Year of Prayer for Barnet:To see God’s kingdom come and His will be done.” There will be a focus on four areas of prayer: To foster church unity; To inspire, encourage and refresh God’s people; To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ; To see our community flourish. Christ Church will have a time for prayer every Sunday evening from 6pm to 7pm (Followed by our evening service from 7pm to 7.45pm if you want to stay for that) If you are unable to attend there will be more dates and times at other local churches.

Wednesday Home Group is at 10.30am on the first and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
